Rondal wins mast project for world's largest carbon sloop

Friday, March 20 2015

After recent orders for the rig of a 58 mtr sloop and a 56 mtr ketch, this is again a clear show case that Rondal dominates the superyacht market for rigging projects this size.

This new project for the new Baltic 175 Pink Gin incorporates a 68 mtr long carbon fibre mast and Rondal performance furling boom. The rigging package will feature Rondal's battencar system and internal D tangs, the furling boom according to Rondal 'style to order' principle will have Rondal's proven and widely appreciated and highly recommended outhaul system.

The rig will be supported by a state of the art solid carbon standing rigging from Carbo Link. Delivery is planned for the early days of 2017.

With currently eight superyacht rigs on order, plus this prestigious order from Baltic, there is no doubt that Rondal is the leading spar maker in this segment.
